Phillip Lim catered to a “sophisticated youth” (i prefer to call it a bad-ass chic youth) by offering styles with effortless cuts and sportswear details. Discarding the over-the-top-prints trend, he mainly opted for solids in muted grays, sorbets, and pastel colors. A nod to the 90’s shows in the likes of cutout sweater dresses, denim vests, and over sized jackets. This is a welcome diversion from the lady-like looks hitting the runways.
