burning man is still on the brain of so many. it's like the never-ending aftershock. trust me, they are talking about it. A LOT. because 'it stays in you.' i didn't go but i've gotten the entire breakdown and photo extravaganza wrapup, including the post 'burning man' parties in la. the attire and costumes for this event are very special and true art, just like the shows during fashion week. the makeup at the dior s/s 2013 show, created by the one and only pat mcGrath, was so .... burning man-esq. haha. of course it was in sharp contrast to the sleek sophisticated clothes (and hair!) but as in all life, there is nothing more interesting then a contradiction. described as "techno butterfly" this makeup is exactly that... playful with sexy beats and just badass. makes me wanna dance!
burning man is totally appropriate for daily life...right?
