Some things never go out of style. Most notably, Influence. 

In this case, I’m also referring to the book by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Earlier today I was dreaming up a certain sandwich (that I’ve never eaten but imagined would be amazing) and needed to fulfill that vision. This required an afternoon grocery store visit.  As I was picking up the essential wheat “bolillo” bun from the bakery my eyes met *Influence* in a….. bargin bin ($4)! Haha, I mean it was published in 2008. But seriously, who knew they sell such chic books at the grocery store? Style is following me everywhere! ;-) I’m excited to add this to my collection!! the day of rest

My catholic upbringing tells me Sunday is the day of rest. Life has provided alternative meanings: All you can eat Sunday (coined by my seriously hung-over friend), Sunday Funday (invented by those who refuse to stop partying), Sunday kind of love (Etta James’ lyrical genius – being with yo man!) My new definition: Sunday Style Summary. Now say that five times fast. Just kidding! Here are some favorites from the week. What did you most enjoy this week? How do you spend your Sundays?

 I love radiohead and this remix is very cool (highly recommended!). The simple chic outfit on right is totally something I would wear (via net-a-porter).

The blogger at columbine smille has a really strong, classy and feminine style that I adore! 

these heavenly pics are from istanbul (and via honestly, wtf.) i find the pattern and colors in the first pic divine and the second shot, i mean, it's simply incredible.

here's a cheerful and playful orange pleated skirt on *intrique me now* -it's a fun one. :-) and to the right Chiara is wearing some great tortoise shell sunnies by Elizabeth and James (via theblondesalad.com)

The shows are displaying another exciting movement for S/S 2012: print mania and colors. Read: bright neon’s, bold purple prints, fuchsia lips. Rag & Bone, Proenza Schouler, and Prabal Gurung are all in on the game. See for yourself. Does this make you happy or it just me?
