valentine's blues (sort of)

right when i was wishing i had some pastel jeans, i found a pair of brand new unworn KOVA & T baby blue jeans in the back of a drawer. then my gilt purchase came back to me. i like how they were hiding until the perfect moment, i'm so ready to wear these baby blues! :-)

not go bangs, that is the answer

following up to my previous post, i've opted to be bangs free, for now. i may do a gradual transition at some point but mainly i'm not interested in any additional styling (i'm an air-dry- and-go sort of girl) and a bit confused about what bangs means for wavy hair? how are you doing your hair for holidays?

horse warrior

the american indian exhibit highlighting horse warriors showcases beautiful crafted masks and gear designed for the honored partners in battle. every piece feels organically manifested with purpose and intuitively artistic. i find inspiration around every corner and today's adventure was no exception. since the botanical gardens are right next door, i didn't miss that stop either. hope you enjoy! happy weekend. xoxo

i received jewelmint's (unseasonable but cute) *bella flora* earrings. although perfect for spring, i won't deny them on this rainy fall day. being a statement on their own, i paired them with a denim shirt and denim J brand bell bottoms to keep with the 70s flower child vibe. thoughts? hope you're having an amazing day!

my evening outfit pics turned out blurry so i took post photos of the look; some imagination is required for the full effect. i paired a classic navy nautical top with leather like pants, teal Manolo Blahnik pumps, and silver jewelry with a harder edge. i like the juxtaposition of traditional and rebellious. what do you think?
