My two favorites pieces from the Dean Quinn FW 12 collection. I find these slits a more chic way to bring sex appeal to classic modest dresses. Modesty is the new sexy.  Wouldn't you agree? Even paris hilton is looking less like a street walker these days :-)

Rodarte FW12

Sourcing inspiration from Australia's history, Rodarte’s FW12 collection offers wild and abstract prints in an earthy palette. Prevalent were delicate frocks topped with rugged shearling jackets and tough dresses paired with powerful prairie shoes. Collars make another appearance this season as do bold prints in ladylike styles. Are you a fan?

Have you been following the NYFW Ready-T0-Wear Fall 2012 shows? I’m gravitating towards the designers who have added some edge to previous season's 50s silhouettes in the likes of unique patchwork, asymmetrical necklines and hems, and unexpected styling. J. Mendel and Narciso Rodriguez embody this fresh take on sophisticated yet badass dressing.

valentine's blues (sort of)

right when i was wishing i had some pastel jeans, i found a pair of brand new unworn KOVA & T baby blue jeans in the back of a drawer. then my gilt purchase came back to me. i like how they were hiding until the perfect moment, i'm so ready to wear these baby blues! :-)

some new items to my ever-expanding makeup bag: a really pretty peach argan lip gloss by Josie Maran in Soledad and my go-to eyeliner by Mac called Teddy. 

Josie Maran products make me smile because they are natural, organic, cruelty-free, paraben free, toxin free, and recyclable. I'm so into this color for the spring and for some reason it makes my eyes pop. what makeup colors are you lusting over?
