the law of least effort
If
there’s anyone who knows how to capture the essence of a moment through
beautiful photography, it’s Bruce Weber. His photographs feel natural and easy,
a characteristic of true talent. When you’re aligned with expressing your innate
gifts in the world, it’s a practice in one of the seven spiritual laws of the universe:
The law of least effort. This principle of no resistance adheres to the intelligence
of nature. A blade of grass doesn’t try to grow. A flower isn’t forcing itself
to bloom. Maybe that’s why his work feels so harmonious. I’m curious about what you think your unique
gift is for the world?

proenza schouler: on the money
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler certainly
haven't lost touch with what a cool girl wants to wear. Chalked up as
"american sportswear," their collection of polos, blouses, midi skirts
and dresses are far from boring. Offering effortless necklines while pairing graphic prints with graphic
prints and fringed shoes with crocheted skirts, these fellas managed to achieve a
unique and exciting perspective on making basics new. Sounds right on the
money to me.

you be the stripes to my star
can we talk about the makeup at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear show? So great! I'd like to do this everyday. if
we're going to paint our faces, why not make it a zany, whimsical, and fun.
life shouldn't be serious and fashion definitely isn't.

from the streets: NY Fashion Week
Here are some of my favorite looks seen from the streets of NY Fashion Week. The sporty elements are so reminiscent of the 90s while the crop top still reigns. Both something for me to smile about. I can appreciate the tomboy ease and comfort matched with a feminine touch. What looks do you like?
