old world glamour

when i lived in florence, i admired the details the city so much, especially the intricate architecture, beautiful landscaping, and cobblestone streets (although trust me, it was not easy walking in heels!) whenever I see photos that remind me of it, I feel nostalgic and wish for a little more of that old world glamour in Los Angeles. Very unlikely to happen here… it’s all about new, fresh, modern! Even the restaurants here get a new name and face lift every year or so ;-) These pics are from Roma and a very quaint and elegant hotel in Seville, Spain (c/o songofstyle and peaceloveshea)

prints baby prints

it's been so chilly in LA recently and perhaps where you live too? consequently, i thought a little winterized outfit inspiration was in order. cozy sweaters, long jackets, velvet fablayering, and snuggling by the fireplace is my jam right now. what do you think of these looks? do you love the layering aspect of winter?
