some new items to my ever-expanding makeup bag: a really pretty peach argan lip gloss by Josie Maran in Soledad and my go-to eyeliner by Mac called Teddy. 

Josie Maran products make me smile because they are natural, organic, cruelty-free, paraben free, toxin free, and recyclable. I'm so into this color for the spring and for some reason it makes my eyes pop. what makeup colors are you lusting over?

Just kidding! maybe I’m a bit too eager for Halloween. here’s my first attempt at zombie makeup; the real thing is going to be soooo much scarier (think: way more dead and gory)! And with all the full on costume goodies - blonde wig, false eyelashes, MAJOR nails, bloody knife! oh boy!!! Are you excited for Halloween?? What are you dressing as?

Worn red lipstick.  Traditionally I’ve been a smoky eye/nude(ish) lip girl. However, I'm quickly making the transforming transition to this pretty pucker..it's bold, strong, sexy and your right as a woman.  Disclaimer *the right shade is crucial*

so this song off beyonce's latest album is not my favorite... but omg, her makeup in the video is perfect flawless minimal. this is truly how makeup is meant to be worn, as if you aren't wearing any. it's so barely there gorgeous.
