DIY- my jewelry designs

I recently started designing and making jewelry.  The materials are mainly from vintage finds, unique beads at jewelry shows, and odds and ends I kept around because I had a good feeling about them. :-) It’s a fun creative outlet for me and provides shiny new, unique pieces to wear. I’ve made some for my friends too. What do you think?

I was excited when a package arrived from Gilt yesterday. Gilt is an on-line shopping group that offers fantastic deals on high-end clothing and accessories and now, food, jet-setting & city-specific events. The items featured are in a limited quality so it's a fast-paced, get-it-while-you-can sort of buying experience. It's a bit of shopping war-fare. :-)
